Well yesterday was quite an interesting day, as I had the pleasure of meeting not one, but two fellow bloggers! - Firstly Twiggy (as we know her) called into my shop to say Hi, followed not half an hour later by Josie. It was lovely to put faces to names and I am so pleased they called in to say hello - So the same goes for anyone else out there, who may visit Filey - do call into my shop and say hi!
It is Georgia's birthday a fortnight on Sunday, she will be 2 - We have bought her a pretend tea set for her birthday, but I wanted to make something for her too, so I decided to make her some pretend food, so she can have tea parties in her bedroom. I got onto knitting these cupcakes, and it got quite addictive, so these 2 are for sale, if anyone would like one - they look good sitting on a shelf or on your cake stand. They measure approx 3 inches high and are decorated with little beads on the top. There is a white cupcase with pink icing and a pink cupcase with white icing - They are £3 each plus £1 p&p - if anyone would like one just let me know! - Pink cupcase SOLD - Thanks Vanessa

P.S - I read all your tips on posting photos, (thank you everyone who made a suggestion) but none of them worked - I can't cut and paste the pics at all, and blogger is just putting them all at the top of the post one on top of the other, so I can't even put any text between them - HELP!

Hi Natalie,

I would love one of those cupcakes, the one with the pink base takes my fancy. Let me know how you want paying.

I still have not made it up to Filey yet! I'm desperate though I need some sea air!

Hi Natalie, it was nice meeting you, and what a coincidence Twiggy as my hubby was in Sterchis buying rum truffles while I was in Natalie's shop! Josie x

Hi Natalie,
Your cupcakes are really good...I wish I could knit! I did buy lots of similar cakes on EBay just before Christmas as presents for my nieces...and just had to keep a few for myself. I wonder if I any of mine came from you. I keep meaning to do a little post which includes them as they look so pretty.
I photographed a pram blanket that I bought on EBay...I was so suprised when the lady that knitted it left me a lovely comment...small world sometimes!

Lovely Cupcakes Natalie. My sister in law has a thing for cup cakes. She's recently made a set of cup cake bears. Have a look at her website www.teenybears.co.uk.

Hello, Friend. I came to your blog because of the lovely name, "Summer by the Sea..." If you click in between pictures (sometimes it takes several times, and moving your mouse around a little bit), you will see your cursor and then you can add text in between photos.

cute cupcakes!
try when you upload the photos checking what layout setting you are on, you can choose "none" which makes the photos more moveable, and as periwinkle vintage said just try and get the cursor between the photos, and press return to make spaces for text, hope this helps, I know I have lots of hassles with photos so don't think it's just you, spaces between my photos is my personal hassle, sometimes they are huge....

Hello...they're so fab! I love knitted objects that aren't normally knitted..does that make sense?..my sister had a friend who had a huge mohair knitted cactus that looked brilliant too..I see what your husband means about Ti*ies! lol! but they are very pretty ti*ies!! as for pictures I just load them all at the top, write what I need to and then move them around after by clicking and dragging them to the end of the sentence that I want them to appear after, you'll see the little box by the side of the cursor, drag and then release the button, then you just have to adjust your spacing

Delightful cupcakes. I am sure your little one will have hours of fun getting you to eat them all. Hey at least they're low in calories.

I remember being invited into my niece's wendy house for a pretend cup of tea! Georgia will love to have lots of pretend food, she will need plenty for all those parties she is going to have. You have made a very good job of those cupcakes. x

Hi Natalie, I'm at the dentist soon so I may just end up on your doorstep unless I end up like the elephant man!
I am with prettyshabby. That is exactly what I do with my pictures. I tend to write my blog, then download my pictures, then move them with the cursor onto the end of each sentence where I want them. I also copy them and paste them where I want them but sometimes that doesn't work!
